Brahma Sri Santosh Kumar Ghanapathi

Brahma Sri Santosh Kumar Ghanapathi is a renowned Vedic scholar, teacher, and speaker dedicated to the preservation and propagation of Sanatana Dharma. He joined a traditional Veda Pathashala at a very young age and underwent rigorous training in the Rigveda for fourteen years, mastering it along with the Dashagranthas in full traditional precision (Salakshana). For the past fourteen years, he has been teaching the Rigveda, dedicating over twenty-eight years of his life entirely to Vedic learning, practice, and teaching.

Over the last four years, through his YouTube channel Hindu Dharmakshetram, he has influenced lakhs of people by spreading awareness about Dharma, Indian culture, and national values. He has received the blessings and guidance of several revered spiritual leaders, including the Jagadgurus of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, the Jagadgurus of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, and the Swamijis of Avadhoota Datta Peetham.

He completed his M.A. from Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Tirupati, and qualified in the Ph.D. entrance examination. As a student, he received the Best Student Award twice from Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, and was later honored with the Best Teacher Award for excellence in Vedic teaching. He has contributed as an editor to several important Vedic texts, including the Rigveda Samhita, Rigveda Padapatha, Aitareya Brahmana, Rigveda Ghana Suktamanjari, Rigvediya Nityavidhi, and Vinayaka Vratakalpam.

His seven-hour interview with Mahender of Signature Studio became a sensation in digital media. He has given interviews to numerous channels and has himself interviewed many prominent personalities — including a four-and-a-half-hour conversation with His Holiness Vidhushekhara Bharati Swamiji of Sringeri, an interview with His Holiness Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji of Mysore Datta Peetham, a two-and-a-half-hour interview with His Holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, and conversations with eminent scholars Vishnubhatla Subrahmanya Ghanapathi, Vaddiparti Padmakar, and Samavedam Shanmukha Sharma. Through these efforts, he actively works to protect the authenticity of the Vedas and Puranas, countering misinterpretation and false narratives, ensuring that Dharma is represented truthfully.

Currently residing in Bachupally, Hyderabad (Bhagyanagar), he runs Sri Kashyapa Veda Vidya Mandiram — a traditional Vedic school dedicated to teaching and preserving the Rigveda for future generations, combining traditional scholarship with modern outreach to inspire and educate society while safeguarding the integrity of Sanatana Dharma.

Sri Rakesh Ghanapathi

Upa Kulapati & Senior Faculty · Rigveda

Sri Rakesh Ghanapathi serves as the Upa Kulapati and a senior faculty member at Sri Kashyapa Veda Vidya Mandiram. He hails from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and is twenty-six years old. His parents are Sri Sridhara Satyanarayana and Smt. Sridhara Sridevi, and he has one elder sister. He is married to Smt. Anasuya Lakshmi, with their marriage having been solemnized in the presence of his revered Guru and with his blessings.

Born into an economically humble Brahmin family, Sri Rakesh Ghanapathi's father has been engaged in the cooking profession for several decades. Recognizing the importance of Vedic education, his parents performed his Upanayanam at the age of nine and admitted him to a Veda Pathashala. In those days, there were very few Rigveda scholars in the Telugu-speaking states. Driven by a deep passion for Vedic learning, he travelled extensively to places such as Puttaparthi, Kumbakonam, and Mysuru to pursue advanced studies up to the Ghananta level in the Rigveda.

He completed a comprehensive study of the Rigveda, including the Samhita, Pada, Krama, Jata, and Ghana recitation traditions, over a period of nearly twelve years. He studied the Pada, Krama, Jata, and Ghana portions under the direct guidance of Brahmasri Santosh Kumar Ghanapathi.

Inspired by his Guru's ideals and way of life, Sri Rakesh Ghanapathi resolved to dedicate his entire life to the service of the Vedas. Among the six traditional duties prescribed for a Brahmin, the first two are Adhyayana (study of the Vedas) and Adhyapana (teaching of the Vedas). With this conviction, he accompanied his Guru to Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) and, by divine will, has been serving at the Veda Pathashala in Bachupally. Alongside teaching Vedic scriptures to students, he actively assists his Guru in the administration and day-to-day functioning of the institution, serving as a trusted companion in the noble mission of preserving and propagating Vedic knowledge.
